Being a City and Guilds qualified groomer, I provide a professional service in a purpose-built grooming salon within my own premises. Since starting my business in 2010, I have built up a great range of clients who return regularly due to my reliability, approachable nature and ability to make the grooming experience as calm as possible for each pet.
Dog Grooming
At Alpha Pet Care, your dog will be groomed to the highest standards by a City and Guilds qualified groomer, with a large variety of regular breeds from Westies to Cockapoos.
The grooming profession is all about building up a rapport and level of trust with my clients, as well as the dogs I regularly see. Some of the dogs I see, I have had the pleasure of grooming since they were puppies. This allows me to build a trusting relationship with the dog, and makes it a great experience for both me and your pet!
Services
Within a standard appointment, you can expect your dog to be brushed, for nails to be trimmed, ears plucked and cleaned, expression of anal glands, bathed, and then trimmed to your specification.
Depending on your requirement, I can offer hand stripping
(especially suited to terriers and spaniels),
scissor-cutting
(bichons and poodles) and clipping. If you are unsure which of these would suit your dog, I can advise this.
I also use a variety of premium products, such as speciality shampoos for sensitive skin and coat types.
For surrounding areas, I can provide a collection and return service from the salon for a small additional fee.
